Rumors About Apple's iPhone 5S Release and Its Features

Rumors are spreading that the release date for Apple's iPhone 5S is around September 2013. The new iPhone is said to have a fingerprint scanner, Full, HD, NFC and available in different colors.

We all know that 2013 is a year of Android handsets with Full HD display screens, glass or aluminum bodies and features we just wished to have before.

Apple's iPhone 5 has made a lot of buzz this year but its glamorized reputation is at risk of being taken away by Android Smartphones.

Surely, Apple wants to reclaim its crown as the best and most-sought smartphone. Her are some of the rumored things about iPhone 5S:

Rumored Specs of iPhone 5S

  • Fingerprint reader
  • NFC reader
  • 4" screen with 1136x640 display plus a 12MP backside
  • Quadcore AC CPU --- SGX 554MP4 GPU
  • Better LTE
  • Bigger Battery than iPhone5

Rumored iPhone 5S casing

Leaked pictures showed the casing of iPhone 5S is identical to iPhone5. It is believed that the exterior of the casing is made of plastic polycarbonate and less costly to build. Probably, Apple is now targeting the younger market or those with low disposable income.

The colors of the casing are green, blue, red, yellow and white. However, Apple hasn't confirmed anything yet. It is also rumored that 5S is quite wider and thicker than iPhone 5.

Rumored iPhone 5S specs

  • Based on supposed images of iPhone 5S, it seems there'll be a significant change in the configuration of hardware. This suggests that Apple is shifting to a bigger batter with more features like NFC.
  • For additional security, it is rumored that iPhone 5S will have a fingerprint scanner.
  • There's strong change of a 128GB storage like the latest upgrade in iPad.
  • Some analysts think it will have a "Super HD" screen.

Rumored iPhone 5S camera

One important feature of smartphones is the specifications of the camera. As we know, Samsung's S4 and Sony's Experia Z have 13MP cameras while HTC is quite upsetting with its 4MP ultrapixel on-board camera with HTC one.Rumors indicate that iPhone 5S will also have a 13MP camera to compete well with its rivals.

Of course, we'll never know what new Apple apps can be used with its camera to make it stand out more.

Review: What's in a HTC One X+?

HTC One X+

In 2012, HTC had introduced HTC One X+. It ha a bigger battery and have Android Jelly Bean for its OS.

Compare with One X

One X is the first handset to show off a quad core power and this important feature upgrade from the Taiwanese company includes a 1GB RAM and 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.

There's not much difference between the original One X and One X+. It has a 4.7 inches Super LCD screen and  8MP snapper that's facing the rear. One X+ has daster processor, more storage, newer Android verision and more storage.

A Phone to Love

Overall, the phone's design is nice and comfortable to touch with its rounded corners and soft-touch plastic. Because its edges are slight angled inward, you can easily hold the 4.7" while viewing its 1280x720 LCD display. The screen itself is fascinating though it's not yet an AMOLED display.

Like other HTC Android Phones, in the bottom, it has the three capacitive buttons. One is for list of recent apps used, the other is for back and the last one is for home.

With regard to battery life, One X+ can last for several days if moderately use but it cannot last until bed time if you use it regularly and listen to streaming music. Take note too that the battery is non-replaceable.

Its camera is equal to that of Samsung so it can produce great 8MP photos. The application for camera has quick access to commonly used features such as flash and filter effects.

The features of HTC One X+ are fairly better than other smartphones considering  its huge storage at 64GB and its Beats Audio integration so you can listen to music using headphones.
